Charles Colbourne is a founding Senior Partner and serves as Chief Investment Officer. He is responsible for investments and portfolio management firm-wide and sits on the Risk Committee, Management Committee and Compensation Committee.

Charles was formerly Managing Director and joint head of the global Credit Products Group that he helped establish at TD Securities. The business included over $20 billion of traded cash and credit derivative positions across the investment grade and non investment grade sectors, plus structured products, repackaging, and selective tax and securitisation activities. He also served on the TD Securities Trading Risk Committee. Previously Charles held various fixed income/derivative trading and managerial positions at CIBC Wood Gundy as Vice President and Director (1986-1995). This included fixed income and new issue trading, vanilla and exotic derivatives risk management and structuring. Charles holds a B. Comm. from University of Alberta in Canada.
