Reese Barlow is Chief Risk Officer and reports to the CEO. He has overall responsibility for firm-wide risk management including credit, operational, reputational and market risk. Reese reviews the firm’s risk exposures and chairs the Risk Committee to recommend actions across all credit strategies.

Reese joined Channel is 2007 from TD Bank where he worked for 10 years in credit related matters. While at TD Bank, he served as Vice President and Director, responsible for the analysis of international corporate clients across the loan portfolios, trading activities and other banking and financial activities of the bank. Within that role, he was responsible for reviewing and approving credit exposures. Before TD, Reese worked for Bank Hapoalim and NatWest Bank in various credit focussed roles and activities, including risk management. Reese holds a BA (Honours) in Russian Studies from Nottingham University and also is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
